New Beginning, Inc. was founded in 1998 by Anthony Franklin on the premises of providing at-risk youth with positive pathways that would stop the “at-risk” label from being applied to them. Growing up as an at-risk youth and not having access to the type of support and resources that today's at-risk youth also lack, Mr. Franklin set out to use his life as an example to youth of how to not let the “at-risk” label hold them back from success, and to provide at-risk youth with the guidance and support that they need to become tomorrow’s leaders. He incorporated the organization in 2001 and dedicate himself to New Beginning’s growth on a full-time basis.

While many of the services offered by New Beginning Technical emphasize youth development, we recognize that people and families within a community need assistance and support regardless of age. Therefore, we offer a wide variety of programs that will assist the complete individual. We have begun working in the state of Tennessee, but our vision is much larger than this.

Our organization understands that what we are doing is needed in every community across the United States of America. Within five years, we plan to have branches of New Beginning established in every state in this country. It is important that everyone have access to the programs offered by our organization. There will be an Executive Director in each city where we become established. This individual will also be the immediate supervisor for each program director in their city.

The Executive Director has the authority to solicit for New Beginning but all funds and/or donations shall be directed to the national headquarters. The national headquarters will then distribute the funds raised to the different programs across the nation based on need.

The President/CEO, Vice President, and Director of Programs at the national headquarters will act as administrators to all branches of New Beginning, Inc. across the United States. These officers will have contact with the Executive Director in each city. It is the responsibility of these officers to supervise all operations under this organization.
